Take a walk in the past? Yuri Aniskin. Old Astrakhan.

Artist of himself: "Born in the city of Astrakhan. He graduated from Sevastopol Higher Naval Engineering School, spec. Faculty (nuclear plant). 25 years served in the Armed Forces. Clujba passed on nuclear submarines in the Far East. In 1992, he retired. Features of the service and work on "citizen" allowed travel the Khabarovsk and Primorsky Krai, North Russia.

Artistic special education have not. All the knowledge obtained through self-education. Paint seriously in 1989. He participated in six urban exhibitions in Vladivostok. The first solo exhibition was held in the city of Nakhodka in 2000.

Mainly work on memory and performance. The dominant theme - the sea. Returning to his native city, became interested in its history. Total for these years have passed three personal exhibitions in the city of Astrakhan. "

I posted this artist for two reasons. First, I now very interested in the urban landscape, Cities of Russia (and not only) in the painting.

Second, his work is controversial, but mostly catchy, stimulates the imagination and leads to the past. Astahan in his work is romantic, this romantic coastal town, pier and life river fishermen. In his works, an interesting effect: it seems densely populated city, life in it boils from the times of the last century ... Sea theme, which I love, by the way, is also very expressive in her bright scenes prevail.
